Looking for Inspiration… Scrap Magazines!

Some days are overflowing with creativity…. but let’s face it, sometimes inspiration is hard to find. I really like scrapbooking and craft magazines, but we all have stack of old outdated magazines that are just collecting dust in the closet. I wanted to let you in on a little something I discovered though that would eliminate the piles of mags taking up precious scrap-stuff space! Northridge Publishing, author of some of my favorite scrap magazines, has quite a few options for us space-challenged ladies! They write Scrapbook Trends, Cards, Bead, Sewing, Mini Albums, Cricut Quick and Easy, Cook’n, Simply Handmade, Create: Idea Books, Cricut Magazine, Cricut Idea Books, and their Signature Series (individual books from designers like Teresa Collins, Heidi Swapp, Donna Downey, Elizabeth Kartchner, Kristine McKay, and Kelly Purkey).

Here’s some space saving and ever-accessible options for you:

  • Firstly,  you can get a digital subscription. This is great, since you don’t have to wait for it to come in the mail and then store it ($5 per magazine or $50 per year).
  • Even better though, they offer an All Access Pass that gives you access to all of their craft magazines (Scrapbook Trends, Cards, Simply Handmade, Create: Idea Books, Cricut Magazine, Cricut Idea Books, and Bead Trends) from the day you sign up, forward, in a digital format for only $10 a month!
  • What I love most is their Back Issue Pass, which additional gives you immediate access to ALL of available back issues for all of these magazines too (over 200 issues!) for an additional $40 (one time fee)!!

So next time you’re in search of inspiration like cute layout ideas, the perfect card for that special someone, or to delve into the style and mind of your favorite scrapbook designer, just log in!
